STRC Brand Direction

Merch art direction extending Strategy's STRC video ad campaigns into physical product

STRC is Strategy's digital credit product, a Nasdaq-listed financial instrument that pays monthly dividends in Bitcoin. The product already had a visual presence through video ads running on X, built around three distinct character worlds that the Bitcoin community had started to recognize. This project takes those worlds off the screen and onto wearable products, extending the brand into physical form for the Strategy Merch Store.

The STRC video ads had already established three campaign characters with distinct personalities and audiences. The brief was to build a merch direction around those existing worlds, creating products that would feel immediately familiar to the STRC community while standing on their own as desirable objects.

White Lotus — aspirational leisure. Pool-side, unhurried, earned. The campaign character is a pinup-inspired figure, generated with AI and refined into embroidered patches applied to oversized tees and trucker caps. The mood is warm, confident, and unapologetically relaxed. Taglines: "Compound and Chill." "Long on Life." "Invested in Afternoons."

Landman — rugged self-reliance. Oil country iconography, weathered textures, and the kind of guy who doesn't need to explain himself. The patch characters, a weathered cowboy portrait and an orange pickup truck, were AI-generated and adapted for embroidery production. Applied to trucker caps and tees. Tagline: "Works for Me."

Matrix — the moment of decision. Two glowing capsules in open palms, green and orange, representing the choice to see money differently. Dark, cinematic, minimal. The embroidered pill patch is the only graphic element needed. Applied to caps and tees with muted lighting and a tonal color palette.

AI was central to how this project moved fast. Campaign imagery, model lifestyle shots, and embroidery patch illustrations were all generated and iterated using AI tools before any physical sampling. The patch characters in particular, rendered in an embroidery-realistic illustration style, were created entirely with AI and prepared for production directly from those outputs. This approach compressed weeks of traditional concepting into days.

Each campaign world was built to scale. New drops, seasonal releases, community moments, product launches, they all have a visual home here. The direction is set. The worlds just need to grow into them.
